Stanford and Close Up Opportunities

Learning Deliberative Democracy

Close Up is partnering with the Center for Deliberative Democracy at Stanford University to give high schoolers summer programs where they will have opportunities to participate in Deliberative Polling—a new and constructive take on public opinion research. In these deliberations, students discuss and identify solutions to issues facing their generation, and come away with the skills to lead future deliberations in their own communities.
