DC & New York City Middle School Program

Share unforgettable experiences as you explore two of our nation’s most thrilling cities!

Take a bite out of the Big Apple!

Immerse yourself in history and culture with Close Up’s middle school student field trip to New York City and Washington, DC. During this seven-day/six-night program, students get a first-hand look at how business can shape politics, making lasting memories in two of the country’s most exciting destinations.

Guided by our highly trained program instructors, Close Up students have the opportunity to:

  • Discuss the historical events that have shaped our nation through visits to DC’s must-see sites;
  • Engage with peers to debate pressing national issues in an interactive Mock Congress;
  • Walk the Brooklyn Bridge and take in breathtaking views on the field trip to New York City;
  • Explore Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, a universal symbol of freedom and democracy;
  • Visit iconic landmarks such as Strawberry Fields, Imagine Circle, and Belvedere Castle in Central Park;
  • Take in the view from the “Top of the Rock” located on the 70th floor of Rockefeller Center; and
  • See New York City sparkle by night before enjoying a Broadway show in Times Square!
