Close Up’s New Americans High School Program is built on the belief that textbooks and lectures alone are not enough to help students understand responsible citizenship. Our experiential, interactive approach allows migrant and recently immigrated students to get involved and voice their opinions on issues that matter to them. After this six-day/five-night program in Washington, DC, students return home empowered and ready to make a difference in their community.
