Close Up exists to help young people become more active, informed and engaged citizens. We believe that the rights and responsibilities of citizenship should be open to all, regardless of financial means. Therefore, facilitating the participation of students from disadvantaged communities is critical to our mission. Often, these young people have the desire to become more active citizens by participating on our Washington programs, but they lack the funds to do so. Your donation to Close Up on #GivingTuesday, will help provide financial assistance to deserving students from across the country and help engage the next generation of active citizens!
