Join the world-famous July 4th celebration in Washington, D.C.!
Every Fourth of July, Americans nationwide gather for barbecues, picnics, and parades to mark the birth of our country and the struggle for independence. But this year, high school students have a unique opportunity to spend Independence Day with Close Up and experience America’s most important landmarks and traditions in the capital of the United States.
This six-day, five-night program gives high school students the chance to:
Eligibility: This high school program is open to students who will be in grades 9-12 in the fall of 2025. Students can attend individually or with a teacher-led group from their school.
Dates: The program will run from Monday, June 30, to Saturday, July 5, 2025.
Location: The program will take place at a hotel in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
Individual Student Tuition: $1,850 per student. This includes hotel accommodations, meals, activities, and daytime and nighttime supervision and security. Flights are not included and should be arranged by participants.
