Discover American culture and history with memorable study visits to these must-see destinations! During this 7-day/6-night program, students get a first-hand look at how business can shape politics. On Close Up’s Washington, DC, and New York Program, students have the opportunity to:

  • Discuss the historic events that have shaped our nation through visits to DC’s must-see sites;
  • Engage with peers to debate the most pressing issues facing our nation in an exciting, hands-on Mock Congress;
  • Walk the Brooklyn Bridge and take in the breathtaking views of New York City from this iconic bridge;
  • Explore the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and discover why it’s become the universal symbol of freedom and democracy;
  • Visit iconic landmarks such as Strawberry Fields, Imagine Circle, and Belvedere Castle in Central Park;
  • Get a one-of-a-kind view from “Top of the Rock” located on the 70th floor of Rockefeller Center; and
  • See New York City sparkle by night before enjoying a Broadway show in Times Square!
