2025 Presidential Inauguration

Play your part in U.S. history through this once-in-a-lifetime program

Experience an iconic historical event in our nation’s capital!

Drawing on the energy, excitement, and pageantry of the 2025 presidential inauguration, the enormously popular Presidential Inauguration Middle School Program gives students an insider’s view of democracy in action. So much more than an in-and-out tour, this seven-day, six-night trip for middle schoolers helps young people see how our national ideals impact us today. Students walk the halls of Capitol Hill, explore renowned memorials and Smithsonian museums, and participate in the pageantry of a presidential inauguration!

Close Up ensures students have a safe, educational, and memorable time in DC as they:

  • Take part in pre-inauguration events on the National Mall;
  • Witness the president’s oath of office and inaugural address;
  • Celebrate at an exclusive inaugural event;
  • Examine George Washington’s legacy through a visit to Mount Vernon; and
  • Experience one of our nation’s most storied events in an all-inclusive environment!
