Empowering Girls' Voices

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, the election of the nation’s first female vice president, and a record number of women in Congress in 2021, Close Up is proud to offer Empowering Girls’ Voices.  In partnership with the Hockaday Institute for Social Impact, students from schools nationwide will participate in a series of online civic engagement workshops to discuss the issues that matter most to them, develop empathy for the perspectives of others, and build the skills and confidence needed to empower a generation of female change-makers.
