Abby Manning
Abby Manning is originally from Vermont and is an alumnus of Alfred University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies with a concentration in International Relations before starting her first season with Close Up as a program instructor in January of 2020. After leaving the foundation for a year, Abby returned to Close Up’s curriculum team as a Student Program Specialist in June of 2021 and has since joined the Special Programs Team as a Special Programs Coordinator. In this role, she develops curriculum and leads partnership programs in both Washington, DC, and across the country, working with ESOL learners, Native Youth, and a variety of other partnerships.
