Daniel Wallace
Dr. Daniel Audwin Wallace is the Director of Curriculum and Professional Development for Close Up Foundation and between 1985 and 2001 was the Special Assistant to the Vice President of Programs, involved with curriculum planning, program development, program administration, instructors, and teacher training. Dr. Wallace has implemented civic-education programs for retirees, students in grades 6-12 and service-learning training for educators. Dr. Wallace has an extensive background in civics education and has worked nationally in the educational field of high school reform with the National Career Academy Coalition, the National Academy Foundation, and Johns Hopkins University’s Talent Development (2001 to present). Dr. Wallace earned a Doctorate of Education (Dissertation: “A Call for the Study of US Foreign Policy in Secondary Public Education”) and Masters of Education from Teachers College at Columbia University. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from City College of New York.
